Google's convergence of Chrome and Android os is taking a huge step of progress this week. After introducing a limited App Runtime for Chrome (ARC) back in September, Yahoo is increasing its beta job to allow Android apps to perform on Windows, Operating-system X, and Linux. It's an early on experiment designed mostly for creators, but anyone is now able to download an APK of an existing Android iphone app and establish it on the House windows / Linux Personal computer, Apple pc, or Chromebook.
You simply need to down load the ARC Welder iphone app and obtain APKs from Google's Play Store. There are a few limitations: only 1 iphone app can be loaded at a time, and you have to select landscape or portrait structure and whether you want the iphone app to run in mobile- or tablet-style. However, you can insert multiple applications by selecting the download ZIP option in Arc Welder and extracting it and then permitting extension developer function to download the folder of the extracted APK. During my testing There is that most applications run really well. There are a few exceptions like Chrome and Gmail for Android os that provide Yahoo Play Services problems, but that's not because ARC doesn't support them. Developers will need to optimize their applications for ARC, plus some Yahoo Play Services are also backed right now, making that process an entire great deal easier.
